CIT  |  Counselor-In-Training Program
Entering 9th Grade  |  9-week commitment

CIT is a two-year leadership training program designed to prepare young people with the direction and motivation to be a part of Camp JCC programs.
The program teaches leadership and job skills through a variety of methods.

Participation in the CIT Program is based on a selection process that requires an application submission and interview.

This program is limited to 7 participants.

First-year participants take part in training sessions on child development, team building, camp programming, First Aid instruction and more.

Second-year participants receive more hands-on experience and
advanced training.

Upon satisfactory completion of the 2-year program, successful graduates have first priority at any open positions the following summer.
